All Nippon Airways (ANA), extends its offer to Europe. It is launching a new daily non-stop flight between Tokyo Haneda Airport and Vienna International Airport by Boeing 787-9. This new line will be inaugurated on 17 February 2019 and will represent the cornerstone of ANA’s strategy to meet the growing demand for links between Asia and Europe. Vienna will thus become the 7th European city served after Paris, London, Frankfurt (2 flights), Munich, Düsseldorf and Brussels.
In addition to its attractiveness as a tourist destination, Vienna has recently been crowned « the most pleasant city in the world« . It is an ideal hub for the development of air traffic within Europe, thanks to the code-share agreement between ANA and Austrian Airlines, a member of the Lufthansa group.
The strong presence of the Lufthansa group, which offers flights from Vienna to 68 other European cities, with reduced connection times (from 25 to 50 minutes), makes it easy to reach the other cities on the continent directly.
In addition, the ANA partnership with the Lufthansa group will make it possible to meet the very strong demand from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland and also France.
With the addition of Vienna, ANA now has seven non-stop services (8 flights) between Japan and Europe. The Austrian capital is the 44th city to be served by ANA outside Japan.
