A young couple kicked off a flight, why ?

But what is Robin Hood doing? Marcus and Zarah, a young couple from Sherwood, returned on August 30 from their very successful honeymoon in Cuba. So the atmosphere was at its peak, when suddenly everything went wrong on the return flight from Havana/Manchester. Unfortunately, this is often the case when we talk about food in England.

The facts are relatively simple: when the meal was served on board, the flight crew indicated that it would be the only meal served during the trip. Marcus thought the service included a meal and a snack!
Marcus admits to swearing (it’s not right) and stating «  hat to the chef. » Nothing to whip a steward or a flight attendant with.
Especially since Marcus pointed out that his remark was not personal. Undoubtedly a global tribute to the quality of the service….

But all of a sudden, the English cabin crew seems to have become quite susceptible. And took all necessary measures to punish any form of protest.

Upon arrival, Marcus and Zarah were greeted by the local police (Nottingham’s sheriff?) and disembarked manually militari in front of all passengers to be heard.

They presented their point of view and learned of the reasons for which they were accused by Thomas Cook Airlines: » disruptive and abusive behaviour. »

The sense of humour so dear to the English seems to have been definitively lost. From now on, the sense of mood (the bad) takes precedence.

Finally, after being listened to, they were released without any charges being brought against them. The world has become so politically correct, so intolerant.

So, after the media coverage will come the time for compensation. The young couple says in unison: » We felt like victims, we were treated like criminals. Simply because we dared to express our opinion on the service on board that we paid.  »
And, now a classic conclusion: «  this event totally ruined our honeymoon. »

For its part, a carrier spokesperson stated: » The safety of our customers and crew is always our priority and we will not tolerate any form of abusive behaviour on board our aircraft.  »

What is said is said is said. So, Thomas Cook Airlines passengers « shut your mog » as they say there. That sounds better.
In short: « Much Ado About Nothing » – a lot of noise for nothing as a famous author from Stratford-upon-Avon once said.
