AC Hotels by Marriott announces the opening of its new address, AC Hotel Manchester City Centre, ideally located near Victoria Station, NOMA and the Ancoats and Northern districts.
AC Hotel Manchester City Centre has 172 rooms, an AC lounge and AC library, a bar, a co-working area and meeting rooms. This is the brand’s second address in this city, after the AC Hotel Manchester Salford Quays.
« Thanks to its cultural heritage and design references, the city of Manchester is a prime destination for the AC by Marriott brand, » said John Licence, Vice President Europe of the Marriott International Group’s Premium and Select brands. « This address offers its guests everything they need by creating a harmonious, peaceful and flexible experience, whether they are on business or leisure trips »
The hotel’s 172 rooms, including 30 deluxe rooms and 35 family rooms, offer a range of neutral colours from dark grey to elegant cream. These colour palettes create a feeling of space inspired by the brand’s European heritage.
The AC lounge combines references to Manchester’s industrial past with contemporary design in a modern and friendly atmosphere. During the day, guests can work there, in the evening they are invited to relax with friends. At the same time, the library offers an ideal space to organize professional meetings in an informal and chic atmosphere. As for the meetings, they can be organized in two fully modular spaces that can accommodate up to 120 people.
For the most gourmet, AC Hotel Manchester City Centre offers two culinary experiences that pay tribute to the brand’s Spanish roots. Every morning a European-style breakfast is served at the AC Kitchen, and in the evening, guests can enjoy delicious tapas. The bar, which features an impressive glass holder that can hold 800 glasses, offers homemade beers, a vast wine list and the famous gin and tonic, AC Hotels’ signature. Embodying both the spirit of the brand and the British style, this cocktail combines Manchester Raspberry Gin with Mediterranean Fever Tree Tonic, topped with oranges and fresh raspberries.
