Alitalia celebrates Christmas in the Maldives

Alitalia increases its offer in the Maldives for the 2019 Holidays. More frequencies and seats on the Rome-Male route; the Milan-Male route is confirmed during the winter season.

From 25 December 2019 to 6 January 2020, Alitalia will increase its offer between Rome and the Maldives by operating a 293-seat Boeing 777 on the route, including 30 Magnifica seats (Alitalia long-haul business class, with fully reclining flat seats) and 24 Premium Economy seats.

During the same period, Alitalia will also add two additional frequencies (December 26 and January 2), bringing the number of weekly Alitalia flights between Italy and the Maldives to eight during the late summer holidays: six from Rome Fiumicino and two from Milan Malpensa.

Alitalia will resume flights between Rome and the Maldives from 29 October 2019 and, with the exception of the increase in supply during the end-of-year holidays, the service will be provided during the winter season until 19 April 2020 with four weekly frequencies.

During the winter period, Alitalia will also resume flights to the Maldives from Milan Malpensa: the company will offer two direct weekly Milan-Male flights from 21 November 2019 to 28 March 2020.

Alitalia passengers departing from more than 50 Italian and international cities will be able to reach the Maldives atolls via the Rome Fiumicino hub.

MilleMiglia members can earn and spend Miles on all Alitalia flights to and from the Maldives.
