After the Majestic, the Barrière Group started the renovation of the Gray d’ Albion Hotel. For 2017 and 2018,19 million euros are still invested by the Group in the renovation of its Cannes hotels. And over less than 10 years, 120 million euros will have been invested in the Croisette.
The work in progress on the Gray d’ Albion, succeeds the renovation of the rooms. It concerns the first two floors of the establishment where the common areas (bar, reception and business rooms) are located.
[1]Mission entrusted by the group to designer Alexandre Danan who chose the theme of a contemporary atmosphere imbued with great naturalness.
But beyond a simple renovation, it has completely reorganized the spaces that have been entrusted to it by opening up the reception area, the bar and the concierge service.
The spaces have been transformed by lowering walls and partitions. Work continues outside the hotel. The facade of the hotel will be reconstructed with large slats of American walnut. The aim is to highlight the hotel’s identity from the Croisette.
Dominique Desseigne (photo), Group CEO, announces that the work in progress will be completed in spring, probably before the Film Festival.
