The EXO boys band was chosen to promote South Korea to foreigners, said Monday the Korean Tourist Office (KTO), as part of efforts to attract more visitors to the country.
The K-pop band is currently shooting a series of KTO promotional video clips under the theme « Korea asks you, have you ever…? » (Korea asks you, have you ever…?), it was indicated.
After a teaser released today, the KTO will present clips on various TV channels, including foreign channels, as well as on YouTube and Facebook until the end of this year.
« Ads will win the hearts of consumers around the world through the K-pop EXO star group, » said a KTO official, adding that the agency will make efforts to attract tourists by promoting Korea’s assets through IT means.
