IFTM Top Résa opens wide

How difficult it is to give up the original name of the most important tourism fair in France! Because it is Top Résa, now IFTM, which will be held from today until 28 September at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris. IFTM Top Resa welcomes 1,600 brands !

A space of more than 31,000 square metres where more than 35,000 visitors are expected. There will be 45 TMC agencies, 323 hotels, residences and hotel chains, 21 car rental companies, 47 shipping or cruise companies, 60 technology players, 184 destinations and representative offices, 19 leisure parks, 105 airlines and airports….

An organization by villages

« Le Village des TO », grouped together by SETO, will welcome some twenty tour operators. « The Cruise Village » should include 20 companies
present in the maritime and river sectors. « The « Digital Village » created in 2017 brings together a wide range of innovative companies in the e-tourism sector who will share their experiences, thus offering tremendous opportunities for visitors to prepare and be actors of their change.

Within the « Tech Zone », we will find the « Travel Hub by Amadeus » which has become a reference since 2015 for a growing number of startups who are seizing the opportunity to present their know-how in a suitable space.

For example, we will find Welcome City Lab, Blue Valet, AerTicket and many others. « The Networks » that members actively attend during the show, including Havas Voyages and our friends at Cediv.

The « Village de la Montagne » will have its place insofar as it represents 15% of the turnover of tourism in France. The Village de la Montagne is located in the French zone.

This is one of this year’s innovations that builds on the growing success of these luxurious tailor-made trips. Belmond alone will be present with 5 luxury trains in Latin America or Asia, alongside Ravos in South Africa or Venice Simplon Orient Express.
