The Board of Directors of Air Mauritius confirmed today 22 April that it is unable to honour its financial commitments due to « travel restrictions and border closures in all its markets ».
The 51-year-old national airline of Mauritius has now been placed in receivership as a direct consequence of this lack of activity.
For Air Mauritius, France is a priority market, and the cessation of all international and domestic flights, with the complete erosion of the airline’s revenues, is a fatal blow.
