Mandarin Oriental launches a new hotel and residences in Istanbul

The Mandarin Oriental hotel group announces the management of a second hotel and luxury residences in Istanbul, Turkey, which is scheduled to open in 2022.
This new project is being carried out in three separate towers in the residential district of Etiler, near the city’s central business district. One of the towers will house Mandarin Oriental Etiler, Istanbul, with 158 rooms and suites and 16 apartments with hotel services. The other two towers will house 251 luxurious Mandarin Oriental residences. UNStudio Amsterdam was appointed as the prime contractor and architect for the entire project.
The hotel will have three restaurants and bars, as well as modular meeting spaces with terraces, ideal for business and leisure events. A spa and fitness centre will offer the Group’s award-winning wellness programs, as well as treatments inspired by the region. Two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, will complete the offer.
With its vast gardens and impressive views of the Bosphorus, Residences at Mandarin Oriental will offer the most exclusive apartments in the city. The owners will appreciate the Group’s legendary service and will benefit from direct access to the hotel’s facilities. They will also enjoy exclusive access to two outdoor swimming pools overlooking the city, a fitness centre and six beauty treatment rooms.
The owners and promoters of the project are Asta Holding A. and Yapi & Yapi. This project is the third of the Mandarin Oriental Group’s project in Turkey with Asta? Holding A.?, which already owns the group’s two other Turkish properties – Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum and Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul, which is scheduled to open in 2020.
