On holiday, happiness through vegetables

Who says vegetables can only help us in our health? Well, make no mistake! Because in addition to its health benefits, by fighting diseases such as obesity, preventing cancer or diabetes, vegetables are able to restore happiness. Funny idea, but true! A study was done at Warwick University and according to the researchers « the greener you eat, the happier you are ». These British researchers advised 7 portions of 80 g of vegetables per day.

The British University, aided by scientists from the American Darthmouth College have been working on the diet of 80,000 English. The English are not too much consumers of fresh produce.

Those who eat vegetables are very small. We even note that a quarter of the population consumes it, but in a very insignificant way. A tenth of the English eat vegetables 7 times a day. It was with this part of the population that the study was done. And according to the researchers, it is among these people that we find the most fulfilled.

This study therefore calls for holiness in food, but it also shows that what makes us feel good is sometimes very close to us. For those who want to lose weight, take advantage of it, you’ll get away with less weight and happiness. So, to all families, favor vegetables, they make us happy!
