The journey by Ridley Scott at the Super Bowl final with Turkish airlines


The famous director Ridley Scott has partnered with Turkish Airlines to make a short film in Istanbul, in which West and East meet. « The Journey », offers an immersion in the heart of the most beautiful monuments of Istanbul.

Broadcast on February 3, during the final of the Super Bowl, the world’s most watched sporting event, this short film pays tribute to the ancient city of Istanbul, the birthplace of the airline for 85 years, covering the continents of Europe and Asia.

A 30-second clip was broadcast during the first half of the show, among a selection of the most famous brands, while the six-minute feature film was simultaneously shown in full on the company’s YouTube channel.

Turkish Airlines, the first Turkish airline to advertise at the Super Bowl, has been delighting the public with its inspiring and original ads since 2016. She launched her « Batman v Superman » campaign with Ben Affleck in 2016, « Widen Your Wold » in 2017, in which Morgan Freeman invited the public to « expand their world », and « Five Senses » in 2018, led by Dr. Oz, who explored the wonders of the world through the five senses by visiting some of the most unique places in the world that Turkish Airlines serves.
